Former Death Row Records security chief Reggie Wright Jr. recently claimed that Jamie Foxx is now retracting statements about Diddy in Foxx's upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was. Wright discussed this in an interview on the Bomb1st YouTube channel, where he addressed Diddy, who is facing several lawsuits and is currently incarcerated.

Regarding the matter, he said, “Jamie just realized what he said and wanted to backtrack that… I don't believe Jamie was joking. I think he's trying to walk it back now... Remember, y'all gotta live in this era of everybody scared to be a snitch. Everybody marries people. Just cause you a victim, that ain't snitching. Y'all gotta get out of that, you know, I don't snitch, we don't snitch…”

During the podcast, Wright also commented on Jamie Foxx's 2023 health scare. When asked about the actor's accusations in the new Netflix comedy special, including a joke implying the rapper was involved in his health issues, Wright remarked, “I told y'all a week or two ago that Jamie went to the FS on, did he right? And then he gon allegedly joke about it right… He didn't listen to the bomb first, y'all believe Jamie Foxx over here. Listen to Reggie Wright.”

The former bodyguard also discussed Foxx’s allegations that Diddy was allegedly responsible for the actor’s illness, following claims by Foxx that Sean Combs was “responsible” for his medical crisis last year.

According to an October 24 Page Six report, three witnesses who attended screenings of Foxx’s upcoming special, What Had Happened Was, stated that the comedian accused Combs of causing his illness.

The Page Six report further mentioned that in these screenings, Foxx also alleged the rapper had tried to poison him, resulting in his hospitalization. Director and videographer Choke No Joke, who attended Foxx’s show taping on October 7, shared, “Jamie has a special coming out on Netflix called ‘What Had Happened Was,’ and I went to the taping of it. It was three days taping. I went to the first show; I went to the last show.”

Choke also claimed that Foxx allegedly said during the taping, “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Combs].”

Discussing the matter further, Choke added, “After [Foxx] said, ‘Diddy did something to me.. And I’m the one who called the feds on him'."
