Popular YouTube creator “Mr Beast” has secured the top spot as the world’s leading influencer in Forbes' newly released Top 50 Creators list, having earned an astonishing $85 million last year.
The 2024 list, published on Monday, ranks creators based on factors like total followers, engagement rates, entrepreneurial influence, and earnings.
With 503 million followers, a 2.38% engagement rate, and $85 million in revenue, “Mr Beast” achieved a top entrepreneurship score of 4, outpacing his peers significantly in earnings. His total nearly doubles that of social impact creator Dhar Mann, who earned $45 million, placing him second on the list.
Comedian Matt Rife also ranks highly on the Forbes list, with $50 million in earnings and a 3% engagement rate from his 30.4 million followers. His entrepreneurship score of 3 secures him third place.
Khaby Lame made it into the top 10, earning $20 million through his silent reaction videos for his 255 million followers.
Comedian Druski and fighter Logan Paul nearly made the top 10, ranking 11th and 12th with earnings of $12.9 million and $9.8 million, respectively.
Forbes noted, “This year’s listers earned almost $720 million over the last 12 months—a jump of $20 million from 2023.”
