The trial for A$AP Rocky, who faces allegations of firing a semi-automatic handgun at his former friend A$AP Relli in 2021, has been rescheduled to January 2025. Originally set for November, the delay was granted due to Rocky's participation in a benefit concert at Rolling Loud Thailand in late November, as confirmed by his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, after a hearing on October 22 in Los Angeles. Tacopina cited scheduling conflicts and discovery issues as reasons for the postponement, noting the agreement by all parties due to the holidays.

The trial revolves around accusations that Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, fired at Relli during an altercation in Hollywood. Rocky has pleaded not guilty and is eager to resolve the case. Tacopina commented, “Rocky would have been here in November, but the judge was accommodating,” emphasizing Rocky’s desire to conclude the legal process and move forward with his family, including his two sons with pop superstar Rihanna.

The legal case dates back to 2021 when A$AP Relli, born Terell Ephron, filed a civil suit against Rocky for assault, battery, and emotional distress. Relli claims he was injured by bullet fragments during the altercation. Rocky was arrested in April 2022 and released on bail the same day.
