Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, highlighted the importance of technical training for the capacity building of telecom operators on Tuesday.
In a meeting with Jia Rong, CEO of the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), Singapore, the minister discussed mutual interests, particularly the development of training programmes for telecom operators. Secretary IT Zarrar Hasham Khan was also present.
APNIC’s CEO briefed the minister on the organisation’s operations and expressed interest in launching a training programme focused on networking for telecom operators. Both parties agreed to develop a comprehensive plan for these training initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by Member IT, MoITT, Muhammad Jahanzeb Rahim.
