In a recent statement, music mogul 50 Cent reiterated his long-standing concerns about fellow industry figure Sean Diddy Combs, following Combs' recent arrest. On October 20, 2024, 50 Cent shared his candid thoughts with People regarding Combs.

He acknowledged that some might consider his recent remarks about the Bad Boy Records owner to be extreme. However, he stressed that his critiques are nothing new and have been part of his commentary on Combs for more than a decade.

He said: "Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years."

50 Cent's comments about Combs over the past decade stem from their long-standing feud, which dates back to the early 2000s. Their public conflict escalated in 2006 when 50 Cent claimed in his song The Bomb that Combs knew the identity of the person responsible for The Notorious B.I.G.'s murder.

Following his statement, Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.

Over the weekend, 50 Cent gave an interview to People to discuss his concerns regarding Sean Diddy Combs.

During the open conversation, 50 Cent explained that he has deliberately distanced himself from the drama and conflicts often seen in the hip-hop industry, stating that such disputes don't align with his approach.

"Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff. But away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time because this is not my style," 50 said.

This isn't the first time 50 Cent has spoken out about Combs. Since their feud began in 2006, the two have exchanged public insults and diss tracks. Most recently, 50 Cent was in the headlines again concerning Combs when singer Cassie filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder in late 2023, alleging sexual assault.
