Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, was seen in public for the first time since sharing her grief over the One Direction star’s tragic passing.

Cassidy, 25, left Argentina two days before Payne fell 45 feet to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last Wednesday at the age of 31.

On Friday, she broke her silence by posting a heartfelt tribute to Payne. Her Instagram message read: 'Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way.'

'I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.'

'Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.'

Cassidy and Payne began dating in October 2022, making their red carpet debut together at the Fashion Awards later that year.

In June 2023, the couple dispelled rumors of a split by going on a date in London. She also stood by him later that year when he was hospitalized with a serious kidney infection.

Payne tragically fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero hotel.

Police and prosecutors are continuing their investigation, treating the incident as an "inconclusive death."

A post-mortem examination revealed that Payne died from multiple injuries.

Over the weekend, Cassidy was spotted in Florida, picking up dog food for the pet she shared with Payne.

She was seen walking with two friends, carrying a bag under each arm.

The couple had originally traveled to Buenos Aires to attend Niall Horan's concert on October 4, but Payne stayed in Argentina after Cassidy flew home on October 14.
