Isha Ambani was awarded the prestigious 'Icon of the Year' at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 2024, celebrated in Mumbai.

Recognised for her contributions to the entrepreneurial landscape, she showcased her unique style while making a significant impact on the event.

Isha, the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, made a striking appearance in a Schiaparelli ensemble, featuring a gold-button gilet with chain-linked straps, paired with a daring black skirt adorned with asymmetric cut-outs.

This modern yet elegant outfit was the talk of the evening, highlighting her fashion-forward sensibility.

During her acceptance speech, Isha dedicated her award to her mother, Nita Ambani, and her daughter, Aadiya. “I would like to dedicate this award to my daughter, Aadiya, who inspires me every day to do more and do better,” she stated.

She also expressed deep admiration for her mother, saying, “Thank you, Mom, for walking so I could run. This award is really because of you.”

The event also recognised other notable figures, including Kriti Sanon, Avani Lekhara, and Ananya Panday. Presented by Gauri Khan, a celebrated interior designer, the awards ceremony emphasised the importance of female empowerment and recognition.

Isha Ambani, who leads Reliance Retail’s expansion and digital initiatives, has been instrumental in transforming the retail and telecom sectors in India. Under her guidance, Reliance Retail has become one of Asia’s top ten retailers and a key player in the global market.

The Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, which began in 2007, celebrates the achievements of women across various fields, including film, art, and culture.

Each awardee had the opportunity to present the next category winner, fostering a spirit of empowerment throughout the event.
