A case has been registered against four unknown armed suspects, three days after a young man was kidnapped, shot, and dumped near Razzaqabad Dhani Partu Goth in the Shah Latif Town area.
According to Express News, the case, under FIR No. 24/1317, was registered in Shah Latif Town on the complaint of the injured man, Mismar's father, Muhammad Arif, under the section for attempted murder.
Muhammad Arif, the complainant, stated that he resides in Malir Cantt and is a retired employee of K-Electric. On October 13, he was on his way to visit his ill sister in Korangi with his wife, mother, and son.
As they reached Rado Bakery after descending from Shah Faisal Bridge, a car with four individuals stopped their vehicle.
The suspects took his son, Mismar, out of the car along with his licensed 9mm pistol, mobile phone, Malir Cantt entry card, and other documents, and forced him into their vehicle.
The complainant added that all four suspects were masked. He attempted to accompany his son by sitting in their car, but the suspects forced him out of the vehicle at Murtaza Chowrangi.
He immediately informed the police through the Madadgar 15 helpline and called his son-in-law to begin searching for his son.
During the search, the Shah Latif Town police called him to inform him that the suspects had shot his son twice and left him injured. His son was transferred to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition.
Arif claims that the four unknown suspects shot his son due to an unknown enmity and requested legal action.
It is worth noting that on the night between Sunday and Monday, the armed suspects kidnapped the father and son from Shah Faisal Colony, looted them, and later shot and dumped the son on the street.
The injured citizen had told the police that the abductors were in a white car with police number plates and claimed to be Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel.
