The Indian censor board has removed Akshay Kumar's famous anti-smoking ad "Nandu" from theatres.

Akshay Kumar's anti-smoking ad had been shown in Indian theatres for six years, but now filmgoers will no longer see it. A report has revealed that the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has decided to discontinue the ad.

It is unclear why the decision was made, but it has been mentioned that the ad will be replaced by another anti-smoking ad.

The decision to remove Akshay Kumar's anti-smoking ad was taken last month. Viewers have expressed their thoughts on the ad's removal, stating that people will miss it. Moviegoers remember all the dialogues from the ad.

An official from a multiplex cinema said, "It was my favourite anti-smoking ad because it delivered an important message without any disturbing visuals."

Akshay Kumar's ad became famous as "Nandu," with its dialogues often being repeated by viewers.
