RAWALPINDI:

FG Girls Sir Syed Public School on Mall Road recently hosted an arts competition featuring twelve schools from the Chaklala region, showcasing impressive works in painting and photography.

The painting competition was judged by Madam Mehwish, Madam Sania Noorul Huda, and Akramullah, while Sajjad Haider and Muhammad Asim Ehtisham Zafar evaluated the photography entries. The host school excelled in both categories, with Horiya Naveed and Fatima securing first place in the painting competition, and Rastee Noor achieving first in photography.

Following the event, the administration announced that these talented students have been selected to compete in the upcoming zonal competitions scheduled for the end of this month. Principal Dr Sarwat Soltani emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in fostering students' abilities, stating that participation in such events prepares girls for success in their future careers.

In line with this vision, Dr Soltani plans to establish a Hobbies Club at the school, encouraging students to engage in various health-enhancing activities, including painting, photography, cooking, and embroidery, alongside their academic pursuits.
