Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas have both postponed their upcoming album releases, originally scheduled for October 18. Fans of Taylor Swift are now speculating that she might release new music on that date, leading to intense online buzz.

Mendes announced on social media that his album, Shawn, will now be released on November 15, stating, “We just need a little bit more time to bring some new inspiration and ideas to life.” Similarly, Jonas delayed his album Music for People Who Believe in Love due to wanting to make additional adjustments

Swifties believe these delays could indicate Swift's involvement, possibly signaling the release of Reputation (Taylor's Version), especially since her Eras Tour resumes in Miami on October 18. While some speculate that this is purely a strategic decision by Mendes and Jonas to avoid competing with a Swift release, others view it as mere coincidence
