The metropolis is expected to have partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours, with sea breezes likely to continue, Express News reported.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there is no chance of rain in Karachi today. The weather is expected to remain warm and dry, with low humidity.
The minimum temperature recorded was 24.5°C, while the maximum is anticipated to be between 37°C and 39°C.
Earlier, on 10 and 11 October, some suburban areas of Karachi experienced rain reported in a few places.
The Meteorological Department reported rain in Super Highway, Steel Town, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gadap Town, Malir, North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Gulistan-e-Johar, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Express News reported.
Several areas of the city experienced strong winds with rain, bringing much-needed relief from the ongoing heatwave.
Despite the cooling showers, the maximum temperature reached 39°C today, with forecasts predicting a rise to 40°C on Friday and Saturday.
The Met Office also noted that Karachi’s weather would likely remain hot, very hot, and dry over the next 4 to 5 days.
