The Federal Investigation Agency's Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad arrested a woman and prevented her attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs abroad with the help of immigration officials at Islamabad Airport.

According to officials, FIA Immigration stopped a female passenger, Maria Begun, who was travelling on a flight bound for Bahrain.

The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle suspected that she intended to go abroad for begging. FIA officials searched the woman's belongings, which included two pairs of clothes, a box of sweets, and perfume.

The suspect will be transferred to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Cell for further investigation.
