Sunidhi Chauhan took her audience on a nostalgia trip by performing the Hindi version of the intro song for Cartoon Network animated series Ben 10, reported Pinkvilla. The franchise-starter American show aired in 2005, and Sunidhi originally sang for the Hindi rendition of its theme song.

Now, years later, the singer has rekindled the magic on-stage, donning an appropriate green dress for the special occasion. The 41-year-old singer delivered the performance at a local varsity in Roorkee.

The 2005 series follows 10-year-old Ben Tennyson, who stumbles upon an alien watch called the "Omnitrix", which permanently attaches itself to his wrist. The protagonist then embarks on supernatural quests with his snarky cousin Gwen and his extraterrestrially-informed paternal grandfather Grandpa Max.

Following the popularity it received over the years, Ben 10 soon split into several continuity series, spanning Ben's growth as both a boy and a hero. The universe further expanded with both animated and live action films, as well as video games. The universe maps Ben's growth from a kid who is not familiar with anything supernatural to an adult who has mastered his abilities beyond the limitations of his watch. Aside from establishing an on-screen legacy, the Emmy-winner series also has many non-canon comic books to its name.

Passionate fans flooded Instagram comments section with much love for Sunidhi's surprising performance. A stream of hearts and fire emojis coloured the enthusiasts' responses. "Goosebumps!" a stunned fan remarked. "Childhood memories have been rewinded," commented another. A different fan aptly pointed out the nostalgia associated with the moment.

"Coolest girl on the planet right now," complimented one user. This wholehearted sentiment wasn't an isolated one, as another fan observed, "Coolest singer in the world." A different user expressed, "India owes you big time!"

"I didn't know she sang this legendary track," one user confessed, then declaring that their respect for the Dance Pe Chance singer just skyrocketed. Others comments referred to her as a "living legend", "beautiful", and "my favourite".

"I am waiting for December 24," a fan announced in anticipation. Sunidhi is set to perform at a music event in Kolkata on the mentioned date. This event will mark yet another addition to her campaign I Am Home, in which she has expressed her affinity for her craft through concerts and a short film uploaded on YouTube.

"As a performer, I love seeing those expressions on everyone's faces. I like knowing that they are having a good time, that they are actually looking into my eyes and not just mindlessly dancing. They are actually connected," she spoke in the YouTube video post a concert in Dubai in 2022. "Crazy things happen on stage. It's amazing."

Admitting that she felt happy to participate in the preparation process, Sunidhi shared that she was proud of the concert's turnout. "Shows eventually go well, if you put love and effort in them. If there's honesty, people will like it," she said, echoing the sentiments of her fans. "I can't wait to explore myself in this area. I am home now, I feel."

But the Beedi singer is not the only one with exciting news on the table. Earlier this year, Dynamite Entertainment announced a brand new comic adaptation for the beloved Ben 10 series at the San Diego Comic Con. As reported by Screen Rant, the executives described this recent development as a "full circle moment for Ben".
