During a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show, Howard Stern expressed his displeasure at seeing Vice President Kamala Harris mocked on Saturday Night Live (SNL). “I hate it. I don’t want you being made fun of,” Stern told Harris. He added that the current political climate is too serious for such humor, saying, “I believe the entire future of this country right now… it’s literally on the line.”

However, Harris responded lightheartedly, praising Maya Rudolph, who has frequently impersonated her on SNL. “I am a huge fan of Maya Rudolph, so I think she’s put a lot of time into doing the piece and the character,” Harris said. She also noted that the skits make her laugh, adding, “It was funny.”

Harris had previously addressed the SNL impersonations during an appearance on The View, where she was shown a clip of Rudolph’s portrayal. “Maya Rudolph… she is so good. She has the whole thing — the suit, the jewelry, everything, the mannerisms,” Harris remarked. The latest SNL episode featured Rudolph’s Harris watching a debate between Tim Walz (Jim Gaffigan) and JD Vance (Bowen Yang), humorously reacting to their unexpected bromance.

Harris’ media appearances, including on The View and Stern’s show, are part of her broader media tour ahead of Election Day, which has also included an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
