An emergency session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been summoned to address the alleged disappearance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for Sunday.

According to Express News, the Speaker of the Assembly has convened the session for 2 pm despite it being contrary to assembly rules, which prohibit meetings on off days. The agenda will include a resolution regarding Gandapur's reported disappearance and confrontation incidents at the K-P House during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protests in Islamabad.

In response to the CM's situation, PTI has announced plans to bring together a jirga (council) of political parties. Asad Qaiser, a senior PTI leader, stated that they are contacting all political factions to convene a grand jirga. He said that CM Gandapur's detention is an insult to the entire province.

Furthermore, Qaiser mentioned that a joint resolution will be presented in the provincial assembly session on Sunday, demanding the immediate release of CM Gandapur.
