Google has announced that its Gemini Live assistant, initially launched alongside the Pixel 9 series, is now available to all free users through the Gemini app.
The assistant was previously restricted to Gemini Advanced subscribers before its wider release.
Gemini Live offers an enhanced voice command experience, supporting more natural speech patterns, including pauses and filler words, and boasts a less robotic voice output.
Unlike the standard Gemini and Google Assistant, it remembers context, providing a smoother, more intuitive interaction. However, for now, the upgraded chatbot remains limited to English.
Google confirmed the wider rollout of Gemini Live via Twitter, signifying a step forward in making its advanced AI tools more accessible.
