Ana de Armas is taking on the lead role in the highly anticipated John Wick spinoff Ballerina, set for release on June 6, 2025. De Armas will portray Eve Macarro, a former ballet dancer turned assassin seeking revenge for her family’s murder. The movie is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4.
The newly released trailer provides a glimpse into Eve’s backstory, showcasing several intense action scenes. In one sequence, Eve uses an ice skate to slice an opponent’s neck, while another scene shows her fighting a flamethrower-wielding enemy with a water hose.
