During the opening night of her "Short n' Sweet" tour in Columbus, Ohio, Sabrina Carpenter took a moment to humorously call out a fan in the crowd.

The "Espresso" singer, known for her engaging performances, pointed out a male fan during her set, bringing the audience into the playful exchange.

A video shared online shows Carpenter standing on stage, surrounded by two dancers, as police sirens played in the background. Scanning the crowd, she gestured toward a male fan wearing a hat, asking the audience, “You see him? Sir, you are under arrest for being too hot.” The crowd erupted in cheers as the fan responded enthusiastically, waving his hat in the air.

Carpenter continued the interaction by asking the fan his name and where he was from. Upon learning his name was Daniel and that he hailed from North Carolina, Carpenter jokingly fanned herself and laughed, adding a personal touch to the live experience.

The first night of the tour, as Carpenter later noted on social media, was a sold-out success. She expressed her excitement with a post that read, "OPENING NIGHT SURE WAS SWEET !!!! Thank you Columbus for a sold-out show and dressing up and singing every single word :’)."

She added that she was looking forward to seeing more "pretty faces" as she continued her tour, with the next stop set for Toronto's Scotiabank Arena.
