Actress Olivia Munn and comedian John Mulaney have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney, born on September 14, 2024. Munn shared the news on Instagram, where she expressed her gratitude towards the gestational surrogate who helped them expand their family.
In her heartfelt post, Munn, a breast cancer survivor, wrote, "When I first met our gestational surrogate, we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel." Munn went on to thank the surrogate for keeping their baby safe for nine months and for helping to make their dreams come true. "I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded," she added. Munn explained that Méi, pronounced 'may', means "plum" in Chinese.
The couple, who married in 2021, are also parents to their two-year-old son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Mulaney has yet to comment publicly on the arrival of their second child.
The couple’s joyous news comes three years after the birth of their first child and Munn’s continued recovery as a breast cancer survivor.
