Arsenal fans have voiced their frustration with referee Michael Oliver after Leandro Trossard was sent off during first-half stoppage time in the Premier League match against Manchester City. Trossard was shown a second yellow card for kicking the ball away after a foul was called on him for a challenge on Bernardo Silva, resulting in his dismissal.
This is insane. Fix up your officials. You’re ruining the league. Your officials are making themselves look like a joke

6 minutes added time. He sends off Trossard in the 8th minute of added time in the first half over a nothing challenge.

The @FA_PGMOL is an utter disgrace.

Kovacić almost broke two ankles last season at The Emirates and played on.
Trossard kicks a ball and is red carded.
Unreal.
Remember when Gabriel was red carded in 1 minute? Yes.
The incident has drawn criticism from Arsenal supporters, who took to social media to express their displeasure. One fan described the decision as “disgraceful,” while another tweeted, “You’re ruining the league. Your officials are making themselves look like a joke.” Another fan pointed out inconsistencies in refereeing, mentioning that Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku was not booked for a similar offense earlier in the game.
The sending off came after Arsenal had staged a comeback following Erling Haaland’s opening goal for Manchester City. Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes scored to put the Gunners in the lead, but Trossard’s red card left them a man down for the remainder of the match.
This is the second time in three Premier League games that an Arsenal player has been sent off for delaying a restart, with Declan Rice suffering a similar fate in a previous match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
