Chappell Roan defends VMAs outburst: "I'm not gonna be a sweetie pie"

Roan addressed her viral confrontation with the VMAs photographer, who reportedly told her to "shut the f*** up."

Chappell Roan, fresh off her MTV VMAs win, has addressed the viral red carpet incident where she told a photographer to "shut the f*** up." 

The confrontation occurred after the photographer yelled at her, prompting Roan to respond in kind. Reflecting on the incident, she said, “I’m not gonna be a sweetie pie to a man who’s telling me to shut the f*** up.”

The pop star, who is known for her no-nonsense attitude, defended her actions, stating that she refuses to accept any form of disrespect.
