RAWALPINDI:

In two separate incidents, two individuals have been murdered in Rawalpindi.

According to the Ganjmandi police, Nazia Bibi reported that her husband, Amir Suleman, left home with his younger brother, Junaid Suleman, and their five-year-old son, Saad, to buy vegetables in Islamabad. She was informed by neighbour Asad Mahmood that Faisal, Amir's brother, had called to report that three unknown assailants on a motorcycle shot and killed Amir Suleman near Chungi No 4 on the Pirwadhai Bridge. Faisal received this information from Junaid, who brought Amir to the hospital in a taxi. Fortunately, Junaid and Saad were unharmed.

Nazia mentioned that Amir had an ongoing feud with Falak Niaz in Peshawar, where they had lived for 15 years before moving to a rented house in Qasimabad, Rawalpindi, a year ago due to this conflict.

In another case, Javed Khan reported to the Gujar Khan police that he owns a vegetable shop and has three brothers. His younger brother, Dilawar Khan, who lived with his family in Battagram, had been using drugs for a year and often slept on the street at night.

Javed learned from his cousin that Dilawar's body had been found near the railway underpass, suggesting he was murdered by an unknown assailant.
