Abdu Rozik, known for his appearance on 'Bigg Boss 16', has called off his engagement to Amira, citing cultural differences as the primary reason for their split.

The popular reality star announced his engagement in May 2024, expressing his excitement about starting a new chapter in life. However, plans for a wedding scheduled in July were postponed, leading to the eventual cancellation.

The engagement ceremony took place in Sharjah, UAE, in April and was attended by family and friends, including fellow Bigg Boss contestants Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who were all excited about the upcoming wedding.

In an interview with The Times of India he shared that as their relationship evolved, the differences between them became more pronounced, leading to a tough but necessary choice to part ways. "It was difficult for me, but I had to do what felt right," he explained.

He emphasized the importance of having a "mentally strong partner" who can support him in his journey, given his unique position as someone "recognised as a person of determination." He added, "As our relationship developed, we encountered cultural differences that ultimately influenced this decision".

Despite the end of this chapter, Abdu Rozik remains optimistic. He is set to make a return to the spotlight, appearing in a special segment of 'Bigg Boss 18' where he will host a unique feature of the show.
