Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in talks to purchase a renowned $55 million mansion in Los Angeles, located next to the estate that Sean “Diddy” Combs is selling for $61 million.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that the "Selena" star is “close to striking a deal” for the 30,000-square-foot estate, which was previously owned by the late BCBG founder Max Azria.

Sources revealed to the outlet that Lopez is attempting to negotiate the price down to between $30 and $39 million, potentially securing up to a 45 percent discount.
The Azria Estate, situated in Holmby Hills, was auctioned in May, with billionaire investor Ron Burkle winning the bid at $30 million.
However, Burkle later filed a lawsuit against Azria's widow, Lubov Azria, over an alleged contract breach, as reported by the Real Deal earlier this month.
Now, Lopez, 55, is negotiating with both Burkle, 71, and Lubov, 56, in an effort to become the new owner of the mansion, according to TMZ.
The property features 14 bedrooms, a greenhouse, a guesthouse, an infinity pool with a sauna, an in-home theater, and a game room. The estate sits on a three-acre lot with lush gardens.
The "Love Don’t Cost a Thing" singer filmed scenes at the Azria Estate for her movie "Atlas," which debuted on Netflix in May.
She previously visited the luxurious estate in March 2023 when she and her now-estranged husband, Ben Affleck, were house-hunting.
However, the 38,000-square-foot property is back on the market as the "Gigli" co-stars are in the process of getting divorced.
A source recently told People that Lopez was never particularly fond of the mansion, stating it was Affleck's “idea and a major compromise for her.”
