Demi Lovato has announced the cancellation of five dates on her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour, explaining that the decision was necessary to protect her health and ensure she can perform at her best throughout the tour.

The Grammy-nominated singer shared the update via Instagram Stories, telling fans she realized she had “overextended what may be possible” while preparing for the highly anticipated run of shows. Lovato emphasized that building in additional time for rest and rehearsals would allow her to manage the demands of touring more effectively.

“To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to adjust to a schedule with more time off,” the 33-year-old artist wrote, while apologizing to fans who had planned to attend the affected concerts.

The canceled performances include April 8 in Charlotte, April 12 in Atlanta, April 14 in Nashville, May 5 in Denver and May 8 in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the previously scheduled April 10 show in Orlando has been moved to April 13 and will now serve as the official kickoff for the tour.

Lovato confirmed that refunds will be automatically issued for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster or AXS, while those who bought tickets from third-party sellers should contact their provider. Previously purchased Orlando tickets will remain valid for the new date.

The North American tour is now set to span 18 dates, running from April 13 in Orlando through May 25 in Houston, with Adéla joining as the opening act. The concerts support Lovato’s latest album, It’s Not That Deep, released in October 2025.

Lovato has previously spoken about the physical challenges of touring, noting in a past interview that life on the road “takes a toll on your body.”
