Billie Eilish and FINNEAS have officially endorsed Kamala Harris for president, with a focus on defending women’s reproductive freedoms.
In a joint Instagram video with her brother Finneas, Eilish emphasized the importance of voting in the upcoming election. She urged her fans to register and support the Harris-Tim Walz ticket, stressing the urgency of protecting rights under threat.
“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy,” Eilish stated.
Finneas echoed her concerns, warning, “We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.”
Eilish’s message comes after Taylor Swift’s high-profile endorsement of Harris, where Swift praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who champions causes that resonate with her, including reproductive rights.
Swift’s support has drawn significant attention, particularly as celebrities increasingly use their platforms to mobilize voter turnout.
In a recent interview, Hillary Clinton emphasized the influence of celebrity endorsements, especially from figures like Swift, whose loyal fanbase could be a deciding factor in voter engagement.
Clinton highlighted Swift's ability to relate to her fans' experiences while advocating for critical issues.
