The third season of the Netflix hit, based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, features eight episodes arriving October 3.

This season explores key moments from the fourth book, including Charlie’s struggle to tell Nick he loves him and Nick’s concern over Charlie’s eating disorder.

Set to Griff’s “Vertigo,” the trailer starts with the friends enjoying a beach day. However, Charlie seems withdrawn, while Nick encourages him to remove his earbuds. In a voiceover, Joe Locke’s Charlie reflects, “16 is when nothing makes sense anymore,” as Isaac awkwardly third-wheels Tao and Elle during a movie night.

Elsewhere, Tara confides in Nick about the pressures of starting Sixth Form and university planning, which Nick relates to, finishing her sentence: “A lot?”

Meanwhile, Nick grows increasingly aware of Charlie’s struggle with eating but approaches the topic gently. Elle and Tao face their own challenges, as Elle, who is transgender, struggles with intimacy. “When you put your hand there, all my dysphoria just hit me,” she explains to Tao.

The trailer also highlights emotional moments between Nick and his Aunt Diane (Hayley Atwell), who advises him, “Sometimes, people need more support than one person can give,” as scenes of Nick and Charlie together flash by.

The season introduces new characters, including Jonathan Bailey’s Jack Maddox, adding further excitement for fans.
