The Supreme Court's deputy registrar has raised objections regarding the reserved seats case verdict, stating that while the clarification from the eight judges was issued on the apex court's website on September 14, it had not been received by the Supreme Court until 8 PM that day.

He also noted that the Supreme Court had neither issued a notice nor a cause list before releasing the clarification order.

The Deputy Registrar wrote a note to the Registrar of the Supreme Court regarding the clarification issued by the eight judges. This note was written to inform the Registrar of the entire matter.

The note also pointed out that while media reports circulated about the clarification on the 12th July decision, the registrar's office had not issued any relevant notices or responded to the Election Commission's request for clarification to the concerned parties.

This delay has sparked debate over the administrative handling of the case, with the deputy registrar asserting that the clarification, despite being available online, was not formally acknowledged by the registrar’s office on time.

The Supreme Court’s registrar's office has been informed about the issue, which may lead to further scrutiny of the procedural handling of the case.
