YouTuber Mark Rober shared his frustration on Twitter after Hinge banned him for allegedly impersonating himself.

Mark Rober, the well-known YouTuber and former NASA engineer, has taken to Twitter to reveal that his Hinge account was banned for a second time for allegedly “impersonating” himself. In a tweet posted on September 15, 2024, Rober expressed his frustration, writing, “Hey @hinge, for the second time now you have banned and deleted my account for checks notes...ah yes, impersonating Mark Rober.” Despite providing proof of identity, Rober says his attempts to resolve the issue through Hinge’s help desk have been ignored.

Rober, who generally keeps his personal life private, clarified in a follow-up tweet that he has been divorced for 3.5 years and no longer wears a wedding ring in his videos. His tweet read, "For the sake of clarity, I generally keep my personal life pretty private for my own protection and those close to me."

The tweet has garnered significant attention, with over 2.1 million views and thousands of likes, reposts, and comments, as fans expressed their disbelief at the situation. Hinge has yet to respond publicly to Rober’s claims, leaving many curious about how the situation will be resolved.
