Policewoman's alleged suicide raises doubts

KARACHI:

 Police are investigating into the incident of a suicide by a policewoman. Maryam was posted at Shah Faisal Colony police station.

Her husband told the police that she committed suicide after a domestic dispute. Her body was found hanging at her home in Korangi. According to Korangi district SSP, the deceased police official's husband claims that she had an argument with someone after which she committed suicide.

The SSP, however said that the statement has failed to satisfy police and they are opening a full investigation into the matter.
