Two people including a madrassa teacher have been arrested for raping a five-year-old student and a woman in separate incidents on Friday.
Police said a man reported at Civil Line police station that his five-year-old son was sexually assaulted by the madrassa teacher Hamza.
The boy's cries alerted the area residents, who caught the teacher and handed him over to the police. The police registered a case and arrested the teacher.
In another incident, a man reported that his wife was raped by two armed men, Arshad Sarwar and Adnan Liaquat, who entered her house in Manawala.
