Playboi Carti stirred excitement online after sharing a link on September 12, hinting at a significant announcement. Fans quickly speculated that he might finally reveal a new single or the release date for his next album.

However, their excitement turned to disappointment when it was revealed that Carti was only announcing box sets for a yet-to-be-released album.

These pre-order packages could include a hoodie, t-shirt, or hat, all featuring the logo for his upcoming album, *MUSIC*. After the teasers had fans expecting something big, the announcement fell short of their expectations, causing frustration among his audience.

One fan on X said, “f*ck you playboi carti and ur mysterious sh*t we all know ur just sum normal a*s mf fake as f*ck.” Other fans were less harsh but expressed frustration with being led on.

“Playboi Carti. We are tired,” another user commented.

“We are sick of this. Please give us what we want.”

Though many voiced their dissatisfaction online, Carti did make a statement, confirming that the album’s release date would be “announced soon.”

Still, fans were not pleased with what they called an 'announcement for the announcement,' making it clear they were tired of waiting for more concrete news from Carti.

Following the backlash, Carti has officially dropped his new single ALL RED, and influencers like Kai Cenat are already reacting to the much-anticipated new music from the artist.

Playboi Carti, whose real name is Jordan Terrell Carter, is a well-known American rapper and songwriter celebrated for his pioneering mumble rap style, which merges melodic flows with experimental beats.
