In a Instagram, Swift encouraged her followers to research the candidates and make informed voting decisions, while also cautioning about misinformation.

Swift addressed this by emphasizing the importance of transparency, stating, “The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.” She highlighted Harris's commitment to issues like LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, and equality. In her endorsement, she praised Tim Walz for his decades of work supporting LGBTQ+ rights and women’s rights, saying she believes both candidates will bring calm leadership to the country.

Swift, a long-time advocate for social justice issues, also urged first-time voters to register and vote early, adding resources to help people find registration and voting information. “I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” she stated, encouraging her audience to do the same.
