Chappell Roan, known for her breakout success with "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," has revealed disturbing details of harassment and a stalker incident. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Roan shared that an individual had tracked her to her parents' home and followed her to a hotel in New York. "So now I have to have security," she said, adding, "It's so lame."

Roan also opened up about being kissed without consent, having her father’s phone number leaked, and being harassed at an airport over an autograph. "I got home and dropped to my knees," she told Rolling Stone. "I sobbed and was screaming." Despite these challenges, Roan has received support from fellow artists like Charli XCX, Miley Cyrus, and Lady Gaga, among others.

The 26-year-old pop star's rise to fame has brought increased attention, leading to catcalling and harassment, prompting her to address these issues on TikTok and in interviews. "They need to see me as a random bitch on the street," she told Rolling Stone, emphasizing the need for boundaries with fans.

In her interview, Roan also discussed her decision to turn down an invitation to perform at a Pride event at the White House, citing her disagreement with the administration's stance on LGBTQ+ issues.

Roan's debut album has remained in the top five of the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 2. She is currently working on a new project with Grammy-winning producer Dan Nigro.
