Two women have shared their allegations with the BBC, claiming they were raped and strangled by Andrew Tate, a controversial social media influencer.

A third woman has also accused his younger brother, Tristan, of rape, alleging he choked her during the assault.

Tristan is also an influencer with millions of followers.

Both Tate brothers, currently facing human trafficking charges in Romania, deny all accusations. If convicted, they could be sentenced to over 10 years in prison. Andrew Tate, under house arrest in Romania, also faces further allegations involving minors and trafficking. The accusations from these women date back over a decade.

Two British women, not involved in the Romanian case against Andrew and Tristan Tate, have provided detailed personal accounts to the BBC, accusing Andrew Tate of sexual violence and rape.

The allegations date back at least 10 years, to when Mr Tate was living in Luton.

Another British woman has made a new allegation of rape against Tristan Tate, she stated that during the assault, he placed his hands around her throat.

Anna (not her real name) told BBC she went out with Andrew Tate in Luton in 2013. After a few dates, she says she went back to his house.

She says after the attack, Mr Tate sent her disturbing text messages and voice notes about rape and sexual violence.

Anna says he also tried to pass the strangulation episode off as a joke: “Are you seriously so offended I strangled you a little bit?”

When the BBC asked him about the messages, Mr Tate declined to comment.
