A top delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) is scheduled to visit Pakistan this week to assess the preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
According to sources, the delegation will include heads and representatives from various ICC departments, with the inspection team expected to consist of six members.
This visit is likely to be the final inspection by the ICC before the Champions Trophy.
Previously, ICC officials, including pitch consultants, security heads, and event personnel, have conducted three separate visits to review arrangements.
Sources reveal that the inspection team will assess the preparations and provide suggestions for improvement.
Additionally, the ICC is expected to share the official schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) within the next couple of days.
The ICC delegation is set to visit key venues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
During the five-day visit, the team will hold meetings with PCB officials to discuss various logistical aspects, including schedules, practice matches, practice venues, and ticketing.
Furthermore, PCB officials are expected to give a detailed briefing on the upgrades being made to the venues in preparation for the prestigious tournament.
