Amar Khan recently addressed the trolling she faced regarding her forehead during an appearance on Vasay Chaudhary's talk show, Gup Shab. It all began when Amar appeared on Ushna Shah's show After Hours. A behind-the-scenes video of her getting ready went viral, drawing unexpected attention.

Sporting a sleek, tight ponytail, her forehead appeared more prominent than usual, leading to a wave of online trolling. The public speculated wildly, with some suggesting that Amar had undergone a cosmetic procedure.

Addressing the controversy, Amar candidly explained, "I had a tight ponytail, and my forehead became quite visible with that particular hairstyle. People trolled me for it, with many saying that I had undergone some procedure on my forehead. I read long statuses from celebrities supporting me, but I didn't respond to the trolling."

Earlier, actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak voiced her strong disapproval of recent media coverage focusing on her colleague's physical appearance rather than her professional accomplishments. In a passionate Instagram Story post, Saheefa condemned both the media outlets and public mindset that prioritise superficial attributes over talent and hard work.

"It's unbelievable that my friend and colleague's appearance is making headlines, not her craft, not her impressive achievements, but her looks (forehead)," Saheefa wrote, expressing her disbelief at the situation. She then pointedly asked, "What a nation we are, progressing so much, right?" The sarcasm in her rhetorical question highlights her frustration with the perceived regression in media priorities and public discourse.

Saheefa went on to emphasise Amar's dedication to her craft and the years of hard work that have led to her current success. "Amar has dedicated years to studying her craft and has achieved everything through sheer hard work," she stated. "She writes, directs, and acts, yet none of this is considered 'news.' But her forehead? That's what they focus on."
