PTI rally: Gandapur declares Imran Khan victorious despite imprisonment

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared that those who granted the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) have been defeated and that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has come out victorious even while in prison.

Speaking at the party's Islamabad rally in Sangjani on Sunday, CM Gandapur questioned the benefits of the NRO for the 250 million people of Pakistan. He criticised the failure to uphold the constitution and the breaking of laws, emphasising that raising one's voice against oppressive rulers is a form of jihad, which he vowed to pursue.

Meanwhile, journalists have announced their intention to file a lawsuit against CM Gandapur following his derogatory remarks for them at the PTI the PTI rally.

According to Express News, he made severe allegations, labelling journalists as 'sellouts' and 'brokers'. These statements have been strongly condemned by reporters.

Additionally, journalists reported that PTI workers surrounded the DSNG (Digital Satellite News Gathering) vehicles present at the rally site during Gandapur’s speech. They expressed concerns for their safety, stating that the atmosphere created by the CM's address had put them at risk.
