After over a decade of musical silence, Sade is set to release her first new song in years.

The track, titled “Young Lion,” will debut on the “Transa” benefit album, which arrives on November 22.

Organized by non-profit Red Hot, the album is dedicated to supporting transgender awareness and highlights contributions from trans and non-binary artists.

Sade’s song, “Young Lion,” is a heartfelt dedication to her son, Izaak, who identifies as a transgender man.

“We started talking about all the gifts that trans artists have been giving to the world, and wanted to create a Red Hot project that centered and celebrated those gifts,” said Dust Reid, one of the project's organizers.

He and artist Massima Bell curated the album to acknowledge the deep inner work done by trans and non-binary individuals, hoping to inspire a future grounded in values of community and healing.

"Transa" features over three-and-a-half hours of music, including exclusive tracks from Sam Smith, André 3000, and Jeff Tweedy.

Spanning eight chapters and 46 songs, it honors the eight-stripe rainbow pride flag.

The first single, a cover of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U” by Wendy & Lisa with Lauren Auder, sets the stage for the project’s powerful message.

Sade's last original work includes the 2018 soundtrack tracks “Flower of the Universe” for *A Wrinkle in Time* and “The Big Unknown” for *Widows*. Her fans eagerly await her return with "Young Lion."
