israeli forces shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in the Far’a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to reports from the Wafa news agency.

The incident occurred after Israeli soldiers reportedly fired multiple shots at the boy, prevented medical personnel from providing assistance, and subjected him to physical abuse.

Hamas has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of hindering a ceasefire deal by refusing to withdraw forces from Gaza's Philadelphi Corridor, a key area near the Gaza-Egypt border.

Meanwhile, continued Israeli airstrikes on Gaza resulted in at least 18 Palestinian deaths on Wednesday.

Palestinian officials reported that around 4,000 residents were forcibly displaced from their homes in east Jenin, while the United Nations raised concerns about the use of "war-like tactics" by Israeli forces against civilians in the West Bank.

The ongoing conflict has claimed the lives of over 40,861 Palestinians and left 94,398 injured in Gaza since the war began.

Ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas have made progress, but critical disagreements remain, particularly around prisoner exchanges and Israeli withdrawal from certain areas of Gaza.
