The 77-year-old rock legend discussed the incident in a video on his website, explaining how the stroke left him unable to control his arm. “All of a sudden - out of the blue - I didn’t have any control over this arm. So it was a little scary, I have to say," May shared, adding that he sought treatment at Frimley Hospital in Surrey, where he was swiftly attended to.

The musician expressed his gratitude to the doctors who treated him but initially chose not to disclose the health scare, stating, “I really don’t want sympathy... it’ll clutter up my inbox." He noted that he has been advised to avoid physical exertion, driving, and flying while he recovers. This incident follows May’s heart attack four years ago, which led to surgery to fit stents.

Despite these health setbacks, May remains positive and continues to focus on recovery, while his fans offer their support for the iconic guitarist known for writing some of Queen’s biggest hits.
