Vibrant exhibition celebrates Sindhi culture and heritage

The Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR) hosted a vibrant exhibition to showcase Sindhi handicrafts and celebrate the unique culture of Sindh. Local Govt Minister Saeed Ghani inaugurated the event, which drew a diverse audience of diplomats, business leaders, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world.

The exhibition featured exquisite handicrafts, including Ajarak, Riley, and traditional Sindhi pottery, demonstrating the exceptional skill and creativity of local artisans. Visitors witnessed live demonstrations of traditional techniques, fostering a deeper appreciation for Sindhi arts.

The event promoted international cooperation, with discussions on trade opportunities and cultural exchanges between Sindh and participating countries. Possible partnerships were explored to increase exports of Sindhi handicrafts to global markets, supporting local artisans and promoting the culture internationally.

KCFR Chairman Ikram Sehgal thanked participants for their cooperation and emphasised the importance of such events for promoting mutual understanding and cultural exchange.
