In just six days, PlayStation gamers worldwide will have the opportunity to dive into *Astro Bot*, the latest release from Team Asobi and the first fully-fledged platformer in the Astro series.

Ahead of the game's global launch, Team Asobi has revealed several exciting details, including the cameos players can expect and the various preorder bonuses, some of which pay homage to *Bloodborne*. Additionally, the trophy list has sparked speculation about potential sequels.

Team Asobi has also announced that the four cameo bots from *Astro's Playroom*—the PS5 tech demo—can be transferred to *Astro Bot*. These bots, themed after *Bloodborne*, *Gran Turismo*, *Ape Escape*, and *Returnal*, will be available in the new game.

In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Nicolas Doucet, head of Team Asobi, confirmed the cameo bots' inclusion: "Once rescued, you will be able to take these bots to the new game and add them to your starting crew."

As a precursor to the launch, Team Asobi will host a special countdown event in *Astro's Playroom*. "In the last few hours preceding the release of *Astro Bot*, we will hold a special celebration countdown inside *Astro’s Playroom*," Doucet wrote. "Please come and check it out."

In addition, Team Asobi is releasing a Behind the Scenes video series detailing the creation of *Astro Bot*. The first of five episodes is already available, with the third, titled "PlayStation Fiesta," expected to be particularly insightful. It will explore how the PlayStation cameos were developed and the collaboration involved with other PlayStation Studios. The anticipation for *Astro Bot* continues to build as the release date approaches.
