LHC removes objections to Elahi's PCL plea

Registrar office had stated that the petitioners have already made the same request in an earlier submitted petition.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has removed the objections raised to the petitions filed by PTI President and Punjab former chief minister Parvez Elahi and some of his family members against placing of their names on the Passport Control List (PCL).

An LHC bench comprising Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza on Friday took up the petitions filed by Elahi, his son Rasikh Elahi and daughter-in-law Zehra Elahi along with the objections raised to it by the high court's registrar office.

The registrar office had stated that the petitioners have already made the same request in an earlier submitted petition.
