A three-year-old boy died due to the alleged negligence of the doctor and staff in the government hospital, he was not allowed to be admitted to the hospital due to the lack of B-form, the toddler died in pain, the mother carried the body of the child in her lap and protested at Chowk Bukhari.
Taking notice of the incident, the deputy commissioner formed a three-member committee to probe the incident.
While explaining the details of the incident, the mother of the deceased Bilqis fainted due to shock. Her condition is stated to be critical.
The family demanded action against the THQ doctor and staff. Bilqis, a resident of the Qaziwala area of Kahrur Pakka neighbourhood, while talking to the media, said that my three-year-old child was sick at night, he had vomiting and diarrhoea.
The toddler was brought to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kahror Pakka in a state of severe pain for the treatment of her child. However, her child was not checked by the doctor due to a lack of ID card B-form due to which her child died in agony.
The child's brother Shoaib said that the doctor did not check the child even after showing the father's identity card. A video of the mother has gone viral on social media, in which she can be seen carrying the child's body and roaming the street in distress. On which the citizens expressed their grief and anger. The family also expressed deep concern over such incidents on a daily basis by the hospital administration.
Additional Deputy Commissioner General Asad Ali said a committee consisting of Dr Javed Iqbal, Chief Consultant Surgeon DHQ Hospital Lodhran, Dr Muhammad Sharif, Chief Consultant Physician DHQ Hospital Lodhran and Dr Rashid Anjum, Deputy District Health Officer Kahror Pakka has been formed, who (TORs) have also been finalised.
For investigation, the alleged death of the child by reviewing CCTV footage and other available evidence, determining whether there was negligence during the incident and identifying any person responsible for such negligence are included.
The funeral prayer of three-year-old Allah Ditta was performed. No officer from the health department and administration attended the funeral.
However, Assistant Commissioner Erum Shahzadi reached the bereaved house late at night and consoled the grieving mother and took all the details about the incident.
