Houston hip-hop artist and producer Justin "BeatKing" Riley was commemorated with a unique Celebration of Life, honoring his final wishes for a lively and joyful send-off.
Known for his energetic club beats, BeatKing had requested that his funeral be a celebration filled with loud music and dancing rather than a somber occasion. On August 29th, 2024, the City of Houston fulfilled his wishes with a tribute that included food, music, and celebrations of his legacy.
Before BeatKing passed away, he made it known that he wanted his funeral to be in a club, with no one sad, just loud music and women dancing. His request was honored during his funeral 🙏 pic.twitter.com/rIgPwfQz7v
