Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced a series of major reforms aimed at transforming the education system in Punjab, while commending the top-performing students in the recent matriculation exams.

Speaking at a ceremony held in honour of these exceptional students, the minister praised the girls who excelled despite challenging circumstances, calling their achievements a source of pride for the nation.

Rana Sikandar Hayat assured that the future of these students would not be compromised by any injustices within the system. He pledged to rectify any wrongdoings and ensure that deserving students receive the opportunities they have earned.

The minister highlighted ongoing efforts to introduce reforms that will bring continuous improvements to the education system, stating that each day would bring new advancements.

During his address, the minister announced that over the next five years, the education system would undergo a significant transformation, evolving into a model of excellence. As part of these reforms, a pilot School Meal Programme will be launched on September 5, starting in Rajanpur, DG Khan, and Muzaffargarh, with plans to expand it across the province.
