Police have arrested more than 20 suspects and seized illegal weapons, hashish, illicit liquor, and Mainpuri in a series of raid over the past 48 hours. Two of the arrested suspects are said to be involved in counterfeiting currency.
According to a police spokesperson, the CIA Hyderabad, in collaboration with police from the Pinyari, Baldia, Sakhi Peer, and B-Section precincts, conducted several joint operations. As many as 1,710 manipuri pouches, 24 bottles of liquor, and 2 kilograms of hashish were recovered from their possession.
