Jennifer Lopez listed April 26 as the date of separation from Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez was seen alone in New York City on the day she and Ben Affleck officially separated.

The "Jenny From the Block" singer, who filed for divorce from the actor on Tuesday, appeared serious as she exited an apartment building in Manhattan on April 26.

She was dressed in a beige sweater, oversized jeans, and platform shoes, accessorizing with gold hoops, sunglasses, and a Hermès Birkin bag.

Despite ending her relationship with Affleck, Lopez, 55, was still wearing her large 8.5-carat green diamond ring.

The actress had her hair slicked back in a bun and appeared to be without makeup.

She gave a somber look to the paparazzi as she walked along the sidewalk.

Affleck was photographed nearly a week later on May 2 while dropping off his 12-year-old son, Samuel, at school in Los Angeles.

The "Gone Girl" actor appeared downcast, wearing a gray-and-white sweater with jeans and Nike sneakers.

Page Six confirmed that J.Lo filed for divorce from the Oscar winner on Tuesday, which coincided with the second anniversary of their lavish Georgia wedding.

The music star listed April 26 as the date of their separation. TMZ was the first to report the news.

The estranged couple reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement, but she has requested that spousal support be waived for both her and Affleck.

Although insiders previously mentioned that the "Marry Me" actress was concerned about the impact their divorce would have on their children, it has now been revealed that all five kids are ready to move on.

"His kids are taking it fine as are hers," a source close to the situation told us Tuesday. "Everybody is ready to move on."

Affleck shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while Lopez is the mother of twins Max and Emme, 16, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
